4. Our Partners

Special Risk Consortium GmbH is as an underwriter granted full authority as an office of subscription to assume all the insurance functions in the name of an insurer. It assumes the responsibilities of an insurer for certain market segments, branches or individual products.

Through this cooperation, the authorizing corporations obtain the advantage of profiting from in-depth experience and specialized knowledge without the need to employ staff of their own to appraise the risks in the areas of film, TV, media, sports, entertainment and events.

As defined in paragraph 71 of German insurance contract law, SRC is empowered to independently carry out all the functions of the insuring institutions for the benefit of its customers. The authorizing insuring institutions remain the risk-bearers, with all associated obligations.
